The Presto laser scriber is a compact lab system for research and development. It allows for reliable, precise and quick structuring of thin-film solar cells in CdTe-, aSi/µSi- and CIGS substrates. The system is designed for ultimate flexibility and is especially suited for determining optimal process parameters for series production. All parameters can be transferred directly to Allegro laser scribers.
Different laser sources
The LPKF Presto can be equipped with several different laser sources (355, 532 and/or 1064 nm), pulse lengths (nano-/picoseconds), different optical configurations and a mechanical machining head. Combining the different parameters provides for a wide range of parameters.
- Full flexibility: structure from the film or non-film side of the glass
- High output: machine substrates at up to 2 m/s
- Precision guide: built-in image capturing system used to calibrate the coordinates for P2/P3 and for optical inspection
- Clean process: reliable vacuuming and filtration of ablation products
